Lots of discussion this week around the new Lens Progress Bar in the Squidoo workshop panel. Many lensmasters are grumbling about the requirement for a lens to have 20 SquidLikes (thumbs up clicks by Squidoo members) in order to be considered "100%" complete. The change has triggered plenty of forum action as well as Twitter comments and some very creative lenses.
I'm not concerned about the 92% rating. I take it as a "complete without that bit of extra frosting" eval. I have some very good lenses that may never see 20 likes. I have several lenses that received wonderful comments but the lensmasters who visited didn't give the lens a Thumbs Up.
Being a marketing person and understanding how survey questions try to weed out inaccurate data with screening questions to eliminate such conflicting responses I'm left with a puzzling question. I'm not sure if that was an oversight on their part or the comments were somewhat meaningless.
Who knows what it means? But it leads me to another lens idea.
I've been busy with lensbuilding for the past month. I published 3 new lenses in the past month and am working on finishing up an Earth Day set this week.
Here's what I managed to get out of WIP in the past few days:
New Lenses
Gnomes Coloring Pages
Organic Pioneers - Stonyfield Farm, The Yogurt People
Free Patriotic Clip Art
